Jacob Melton is a Country Music artist and songwriter from Woodbury, Tennessee.  Growing up in a musical family, which includes a grandfather that played bass in rock music for 30 years and a 91-year-old great-grandfather who is still “pickin’” bluegrass, his appreciation for musicianship and love of different genres was deeply engrained.  Jacob first picked up a guitar at the age of 14 and was writing his own songs by the age of 17.  He joined NSAI, started making connections in Nashville, and formed his first band at the age of 20.  Burning Years went on performing for nearly a decade regionally across the state of Tennessee. They released six singles to ReverbNation during that time span.  At the age of 30, Jacob decided to focus more of his efforts into songwriting and perfecting his own original sound.  He met studio musician and Tim McGraw’s guitar player, Adam Shoenfeld, and the two immediately found a groove together.  Jacob and Adam produced the single “90 Proof and Smooth” which gained attention from established artists and radio stations such as 95.5 KLOS where he was featured on the Frosty, Heidi and Frank Show.  This has led the 33-year-old to now embark on his first solo project and the Jacob MeltonSelf-Titled” debut EP is scheduled to release April 10th, 2020.  The EP has already gained the attention of “The Boot”, who plans to do a world premiere to the song “Live This Lie” upon the album’s release.
